Last fall, Inland Empire Paper Company and AlgEvolve commissioned an advanced biological water treatment system at IEP's Millwood, Washington facility. Headquartered in Montana, AlgEvolve developed its advanced biological nutrient recovery system to remove phosphorus, nitrogen and other components using algae byproducts and oxygen instead of harsh chemicals.
In 2012, Karmana released the A704-H; High intensity solar LED airfield light, meeting medium intensity runway lighting and high intensity runway lighting standards up to 500 candela (white). It also supports infrared night vision goggle modes and is ideal for use on permanent or temporary airfields and helipads, as well as backup emergency lighting systems.
IKEA has activated a solar energy system installed at its distribution center in Perryville, Maryland. The 768,972-square-foot rooftop photovoltaic array consists of a 2,674.9 kW system consisting of 18,576 panels. The IKEA distribution center will produce approximately 3.4 million kWh per year.
